This new course is designed primarily for professionals, teachers and student teachers practising abroad or in international settings. The aim is to explore new ways to foster democratic development, pupil autonomy and ‘togetherness’ in schools. It will be based on particular aspects of Danish practice and will include workshops and modules on outdoor learning and story-telling, on the teaching of democracy and on conflict resolution.
The course will run parallel with other courses for Danish teachers, and there will be plenty of opportunities for formal and informal exchanges.
